Christina,
I can only speak for myself. But i completed the program. There were lessons that were harder than others. The lesson your on now is a hard but important one.
Your almost halfway through the program, Please dont give up! At times some of the lessons hit me hard. But, i wanted so badly to recover. I wanted to recover more than i wanted to give up. Youve had the courage to come this far! Im sure you have noticed changes in yourself. The anger lessons is one of the more difficult, but i beleive you have the strength to do this lesson and gain something through it.
Spend a little more time on this lesson if you need to. Dont back away from it. I found a source of healing in each lesson.. Take care NellySmiler

Find comfort in knowing that others out there have and are going through the same things and DO recover! You learn such valuable lessons from the program and at the end, it will all come together!

The MWC may allow you to have an extension on your 30 days if you arent sure adn need more time. I talked with someone that they let do that. Just take your time. I have had to do alot of backtracking. Take care and good luck!

Someone that I admire greatly told me once that "theres always a way" and if that means finding a way to keep the program or finding a way to work the program or finding a way to stay POSITIVE. I know you can do it just hang in there!! Wink

Christina,

Recovery is never easy. If it was, we wouldn't need the program or anything like it because we wouldn't have the problem in the first place.Smiler

When you get stuck on one tape or when the subject matter makes you feel really uncomfortable, it's because you've stumbled upon the one area in your life that REALLY needs attention the most. As humans, the reason we do anything is one of two things: to avoid pain or to gain pleasure.

When we're faced with something uncomfortable, our immediate reaction is to want to give up and quit because that's the easiest thing to do that provides instant relief because you don't have to face those "ugly" issues. It's the instant, temporary quick fix to your uneasy feelings. But it does nothing to help you in the long run because you're running away from pain instead of moving towards pleasure - and there's a big difference between those two.

You can give up and send the program back if you wish and continue living with your anxiety disorder/depression, all the horrible symptoms that accompnay it, and all the limitations that it puts on your life. But is that what you really want?

Or you can stick to it, take as much time as you need with this particular tape, get help from a therapist/coach with it if need be, and once and for all deal with your issues, stop running away from pain and start moving towards pleasure instead so that you can have the kind of life you want and deserve.

It's all about choice. Which one are you going to make for yourself?
