Hello everyone

I am having a relapse and I am struggling not to become a full blown anxiety case again. Here is my dilema:
My mother I love her to death but for petes sake I am sick of playing second fiddle to my brother. His wife and him have a 6 month old daughter, my neice, but all I hear from my mom and dad is when are you going to visit them shes getting older you know. If I hear this one more time I think I might snap!! I do visit them when I can. I work in the Agriculture field and right now it is start up for spring and I dont have time. Plus my fiance and I are busy planning our wedding in June. It seems like our wedding the best time in our life is suppose to be put on hold for my brother and his family, according to my mother. I am trying to budget my time for the wedding, work and time spent with family and friends but I feel that I have to drop everything for my brother, mom and his family Do these people not realize I do have a life of my own? I have asked my mom that and she just gets defensive. I am so angry right now that I am starting to get some old symptoms of my anxiety back and that frustrates me even more. Can anyone help me with my problem?? Thanks

Thank you for your advice Andrew I really appreciate what you have said. Your thoughts are encouraging and I really must say that I am the one whom is making the negative thoughts about myself and I have to remember that that is them and not me.
