Hi guys,

This lesson is really helpful. I think alot of people (not just us folks with anxiety) could benefit from this lesson. My husband came home from work early yesterday will a terrible headache. Well, his boss gave him a hard time before he left and when he came home he was steaming. You know what I did? I told him to resolve it or desolve it. I explained what I am learning this week and he kinda looked at me and said " it sure does make alot of sense". It felt good to help him out for once, instead of him trying to understand what I am going through. Then today, my mom was really in a bad mood and she was just sooooo hard to please and wanted to argue about differnt family issues going on. You know what? I didn't react with a bunch of anger and frustration, I "desolved" it by telling myself she was having a bad day and that I should overlook her attitude. So, that's what I did. I just kept steering the conversation to more agreeable subjects. Gosh, being able to avoid an argument with her was so great!!!! Anyway, I just wanted to share and maybe inspire someone who is working this lesson to practice, because it does work.

take care

Sounds like you are practicing well--Congratulations! It feels good when you change the whole outlook. You are learning to take care for yourself-- and your husband too. That's great! I wish you continued success, take care.
