Hi Everyone,
There's something I'm noticing about myself.
Whenever I have nothing to think about, I look for things that can make me upset. It could be something that happened a few months ago,(this is the case for me right now) or, something I create in my mind.I guess I'm very imaginative.
I think anger plays a huge part in the anxiety condition, and I want to understand why.
Looking for things that could make me happy is a challenge right now.Sometimes I think I don't deserve it,so, why should I be happy about anything.Sheeesh.Low self-esteem sucks, doesn't it?
What do you guys think?Am I just crazy? Red Face

No, I really don't think I'm crazy...Just pissed off and depressed.
A lot of people w/anxiety understand that, some dont.

Sky- I have alot of the same feelings as you. I'm totally pissed off about nothing at all, and it's been hard for me to find happiness in anything. It seems like the anxiety is better some days but the pissiness is still there for me. The slightest things irritate me. I try to just get up and do something, anything, but I find that I'm never satisfied. I hate feeling like this also. I know how you are feeling if that helps at all.

Hi Panic_Stricken,
Thank you so much for your response,I appreciate it. Smiler
You pretty much described exactly how I feel!
It's nice to know you're not alone w/this feeling.
I know what you mean when you said the slightest things can irritate you..lolThat's me!!
I think it's like Lucinda says, "We are sensitive and we over-react to everything."Soooooo true, isn't it? I also think it has something to do with our need for control.People like us get angry easily when something doesn't work out our way.At least that's the case for me. Roll Eyes
Overcoming this condition can be quite a challenge, but in the run, we all know it's the best gift we can give ourselves.
Thanx again for your response..Hope to talk to you soon!

Hey Sky- I'm glad that I made you feel better. How old are you by the way. I'm 33 and a divorced mother of a seven year old. I feel like I get really pissy with my son and I hate it. I do know exactly how you feel. Hopefully it will get better for us.

Panic Striken,
Hi! Nice to hear from you again! Smiler I'm 32 w/no kids..I really understand what you mean about getting pissy..I get that way w/my mom.Sometimes I'm more moody than others...Then I beat myself up about it and feel depressed. Frowner I hate this condition, there's nothing good about it.
I believe it will get better...As lond we do the work and take the action we need to,it will and can get better. Smiler Don't lose faith in yourself, that's what will get you through this nasty condtion.

thiefonthecross,
