Like so many of us, my range of emotions from this henious tragedy changes with the temperature outside. Right now I am so angry at our government I can hardly see straight.

I am only learning now that the FBI knew this was coming for several months. They KNEW, but did not act. How can this be?????? This did not have to happen. Why do we hire these people? Why are our taxes paying for their salaries? They dropped the ball on this one and I want to know why - NOW! American demands accountability for their total inability to do their jobs to protect us. The FBI knew this was coming, yet nothing was done to step up security at our airports!!!!???? Foriegners from the Mid East were enrolled at OUR OWN flight sim schools without one eyebrow raised in light of the warnings we received from Bin Laden???!!!!! What the Hell is going on here?????

Our Government has A LOT of explaining to do, and as far as the FBI is concerned, it is time to totally clean house!!!!!!!!!

Andrew - My rage at this point is first and foremost at our own government's incredible ineptitude to protect us from something they had a lot of info about WAY before hand.

Just look at how the FBI also screwed up in the handling of misplaced evidence in the McVeigh case - because of their total incompetence, our country, and especially the people of Oklahoma City, were forced to endure another month of suffering before his sentence was finally carried out.

These outrageous blunders are without excuse, and the American people deserve a full explanation and accounting of the hows and whys of this crucial department of our government!

I am not sure if I haven't heard the full story, but I thought they made threats that were very general..not actual specific plans. Things like we are preparing to strike America, be warned, etc. Has it come out that they said specifically how they intended to do this or exactly when they would? Catch me up someone!
