Fibromyalgia has so many tender points.
But what exactly does your fibro feel like?
I seriously just feel achey everywhere. Especially in my shoulder and arms. My neck to my shoulder blades feel etremely stiff. I dont get the burning sensations and so then I worry that I have been misdagnosed.
At night I feel like someone beat the crap out of me, so when I wake up in the morning I usually feel worst than when I when to bed. Mine mostly is in my jaws, neck, shoulders, collar bones. It also feels like it is in my joints yet in my muscles too where the pain comes from.
Just wondering if anyone else can explain the kind of pain that comes with fibromyalgia.

waterdrinker1, I am sorry for your pain. I know how it feels. Lot's of times I feel like I have the flu. Just a general achiness everywhere like when you have the flu. Also Fibro moves around. I used to have most of my pain in my neck and shoulders (a stiff deep aching) and now its in my left arm and legs too but it doesnt seem as bad in my neck unless I have alot of tension. I am very sensitive in that if my kids lean hard on me or bump me or I bump my elbow on the chair it really hurts like you have a bruise in that area they have just bumped it. We feel pain very easily when others don't. Like my husband can wrestle with the kids and get hit or bumped and it doesn't bother him. I also have alot of unexplained tiredness and fatigue and if you overdue it exercising or cleaning alot then you'll pay for a few days afterward with stiffness and so much pain where you overstressed your muscles for several days after. I take alot of advil and tylenol combined for my pain. It comes on really bad mostly in the evenings. Some people with fibro cannot even stand a shower the spray of water hurts them tho I haven't had that problem yet. My fibro has gotten worse as I've gotten older but it has never made me bedridden like some, I don't let it stop me from doing what I really want to do altho I don't do as much as I used to and it's good I have kids cause they force me to get up and go. I really don't know how to describe the pain. It depends on the day. I don't get much of a burning sensation like you described just alot of stiffness and deep achiness. I often feel like I've been run over at night and in the morning. ( I asked my husband the other morning if I had tire tracks on me the other morning) I do not get very good deep sleep and that's also an indication of Fibro and they think one of the causes possibly. I believe that it is also hereditary because my dad and my sister also have it. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions. I wish you well.

hi< I too am sorry for your pain, I have found that the pain will come and go. I have also found that the best thing for it is tto get uppp and move around, any form of excercise will help, sounds strange buuut its truee... works for me. besst of luck to you.

I'm Getting headaches,both arms & legs are aching,my right jar has pain up to my ear and the inside,i have numbiness in my arm and legs. i have chest pain which i went to the emergencyroom about, they ran test but didnt find nothing.they said it was anti-inflammatory and i have a upper restipatory infection.My back hurts, My whole body hurts! i just had a baby so i was thinking it was aset back & i always got on birthcontrol depo that has most of these side effects.All i can do is pray and believe, jesus said by his strikes i am healed.
