I was just wondering if anyone ever had lymph nodes removed and if they would be willing to share anything about this.

Yes, had several removed during abdominal surgery 27 yrs. ago and 8 more 2 yrs. ago.
Now have lymphedema - swelling and pain in legs. Undergoing therapy for this is painstaking and time-consuming. But legs feel better when being treated. This is a lifetime therapy routine though. |

Hi, No I havent' but if your lymph nodes are backed up, swollen and feel like knots jumping on a mini trampoline for about 5-15 minutes a day will totally unclogg, reduce the swelling and hard knots.
Also, lay off dairy products for about a month. Often times dairy products clog up the lymph nodes. Just try jumping on the trampoline daily for about a month before undergoing surgery. You can purchase a mini-trampoline for about $20 bucks. If you can't jump...while on the trampoline stand on your tippy toes and release, your body will bounce automatically. The trampoline is the most beneficial form of exercising because it stimulates all of your cells and organs. Best Wishes Pumpkin |

Agate,
This is second-hand: A friend got some lymph nodes removed during a cancer treatment (which did not work) about 15 years ago. He totally regrets that now and thinks it did much more harm than good. I don't think it is standard procedure anymore. (After the cancer came back, he did some nutritional therapy and has been cancer-free for 13 years.) Cheers, Artie |
