Wow! That is a lot on your plate. I am sorry to hear that your having so many difficulities. Frowner I think most of us here have a number of various illnesses due to anxiety also. My approach to anxiety and depression may differ from others as that is the way life works. Smiler We all come to different understandings and beleifs at different points in our life. My approch is from spiritual new age stand point. I beleive in the mind and body as a whole. I beleive that when we can balance them as one, our experience here will be one of peace. One of the things that I find beneficial for my state of mind, is to not label myself. Example being...I have anxiety. This intails being obbessive about things and repetative (ocd), I also have suffered a great trauma from the on set of this anxiety (PTSD), I get depressed because of all of the above (depression) and as a result of these things I don't always feel my old self in reguards to meeting or being around people. Often I am on edge (social phobia). My moods change often as my experiences change often. (mood disorder) Understandable that we feel highs and lows. I am not trying to trivialize your expereiences, only trying to show you a more positive approach to viewing yourself. You see how we can group these together as Generalized Anxiety. It does our thoughts no good to walk around with all these labels. We start to live the experience of it. I myself have had chronic illnesses as far back as I can remember. I also have come to realize that stress is the main trigger. Behind every ilness is an emotional problem. Some we are aware of in our conscious mind and others in the subconscious. There are lots of things we can do to balance our health. One being aware of our energy. Or lack of Big Grin. There is nothing worse then living half a life. That is how I see illness and anxiety. You are held back and living in constant turmoil. One illness overlaps another and you feel miserable. Mad This may seem weird to you, as it did to me some years back, but there is something called Chakra Healing. It can be done through meditation or yoga. Both require very little physical work and can give back ten fold. The idea of energy healing is that we have energy feilds in our bodies and when one or more become blocked, we loose the balance of our energy feilds+hense illness. Before anxiety, before cancer, before the common cold, etc. etc. is a inbalance in our energy feilds. There are tons of books out there availble on the subject. I know yoga can be expensive, but meditation does not cost a dime...only your time. Big Grin I know that we all have our own approach to life, however I hope that this is something you will consider. I look at it this way. When your down, there is NOTHING wrong with pulling out all the stops. Take care.

Good Morning and May God Bless You!

You have a long list of chronic illnesses as I do as well. I have two RARE chronic diseases that are incurable, and affected my quality of life immensely. My list:

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis - (LAM) X-RARE lung disorder exclusive to 40% of women over 40 who also have TSC in kidneys! Just my luck! I do laugh and wonder why they would name a disease with 26 letters, when breathing and lung function is a major issue.

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex - (TSC) - Attacks various vital organs in the body. The disease chose to attack my kidneys. I lost the left one 28 years ago, then 12 years ago, I lost the top half of the right one. Remaining portion full of cysts and tumors subject to bleed that hurt.

Hypoglycemia
Migraine Headaches
Hypertension
High Cholesterol
Anxiety
Depression
Allergies

I was amazed by your list, and I do understand you. What people cannot see, they cannot comprehend. To look at me without knowing me, you would not think I had any health problems.
Keep trusting in God.
God is responsible for me still being around.
I have come close to dying TWICE!
Medically speaking, I should not still be alive.
In fact, it is hard to talk to people about my illnesses which are genetic, because they are so rare. No one has ever heard of them.
I don't take that much medication (compared to you), but I do have to take about 10, not counting supplements.
Like you, I have plenty of motivation for coming off some of my medication.

I encourage you to keep the faith!
Sincerely,
Denise
