Has anyone been diagnosed with the Human Papilloma Virus? Well, my OBGYN called me today with my pap smear results and wants me to come in for more tests. Of course, I got worried but I did not develop any panic or anxiety. I want to do my best not to let the stress of this get to me.

I am 25 and have had HPV for 4 years. (Although my Dr. says my system has cleared it) I have researched this topic a GREAT deal and in fact just had my check up (everything is ok). I know that my diagnosis of HPV was what caused my first major panic attack. If you want to discuss this matter further, PLEASE email me. It is private so I prefer not to put everything on the forum. But please, email me. Just know this, everything will be fine. It can be scary but that is why they do the additional tests and as long as you get your annual's then you will be just fine. i had HPV for a few months, but i used something called Podofilox, its prescrition strength but it works wonders. ask your dr. about it
