Yep..I have this. It sucks. I have read a lot of people with this suffer with anxiety as well. Are either of you being treated in anyway? I chose not to take the diabetic meds the doc suggested years ago but am wondering now If I should be on something. I do use natural progesterone cream which has made me start having a menstrual cycle again.

I have PCOS and Insulin Resistance. I've been taking Glucophage (Metformin) for a few months now and my numbers just keep increasing. I've learned that I must watch my carbs and exercise, or the pils don't work for me. I take 3 a day, 500 mg each. I hate taking pills, but if it means my cycle is regular, I'll deal with it.

Annie...what "numbers" is it that keep increasing..that fsh test? Also..if you are only taking the metformin to regulate your cyles..then go do a search for "Happy PMS CREAM" ..it's a natural progesterone cream. You rub about a 1/4 tsp on your arms and hands or whatever around the 15th day of your cycle until you start. I used to NEVER have them...like maybe one every 6 mths. I have them every month now. If that is the only symptom that is bothering you then you may really benefit & not have to take the pills since you don't like to. Just wanted to share that with you in case you were interested. Best wishes to you! (Also..fyi..I have had no side effects. It's made from a plant..not synthetic hormones)
