I have been in the program for 3 weeks. I haven't reached out to the support group before. I have been a person who thought I can handle this life on my own including the stress. I've got it together....right. I have a family, home and successful business, so why am I a stressed out person? Because this is how I have lived my life since I was a young child. Stress is a way of life. I didn't feel normal without stress. Until the stress started making me sick. I am dedicated to getting well; however I find myself struggling with the negative thoughts. How do I have time to do the work of the program while daily life tugs away? Some words of encourage are welcomed. I know I am not alone.

how is this, I just ordered the program and I know I need help, maybe not as bad as some but I'll need help sticking with it. So here goes, you can do this. Go back to basics and what got you this far. You can do it and you'll be telling me the same in a few weeks. It just a thought and feelings, which mean you are in control of them. Step back and look at where you are and decide to keep up with all the tools that can answer this question.

I too feel like I have a great life, but keep throwing it away, that's why we are here. Together we'll get there.

A smile is just a friend away!!

Hi JJen,
First,I'm so glad you've reached out to the group it was'nt easy for me either, but once I did and ones in group responded to my problems I knew I was in the right place. Your stress is making you sick and you recognize that and you have the program. Those are two great steps to getting better! Suggestion: take small steps with the program. Try 5-10 minutes a day in workbook. Break up the Audio session into sections or listen to on way to work. One evening or morning during the week watch Jump Start Video. The relaxtion tape maybe listen with head phones in bed before you go to sleep. Negatives thoughts are tough, I dealt with them since I was a kid and still do, but the program is helping me to talk to myself positively. It takes constant effort to work on my thoughts. But, when I have them, I ask myself is that really true or replace it with a positive thought. You sound like a very strong determined person and you are. You are dedicated to getting well so use your strength and determination to do that! Please let me know how things are going. We are all here together to help each other.

New Jen,
Thanks for replying. I am grateful for your suggestions. I have lived most of my life with anxiety, of course I will not be healed in 3 weeks! lol! I am better already and I will continue with my baby steps.

JJen
