Hi Chrissy, That must be awful. I have felt that way at times - like when I had to represent myself in court at my divorce recently. I had diarrhea and was throwing up right before. It is the body's reaction to fear. It is normal. I think it is better to deal with the reason instead of trying to make the symptoms go away or stressing out about them. You accept the uncomfortable symptoms and tell yourself it is normal because you are scared and they will go away. Then look at what you are thinking that is making you scared. Your mind is telling you something that is exaggerated or untrue. CD #2 is really good for addressing all of this. Good luck girlfriend.

Chrissy, I suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and it sounds like you do. Tell your doctor and they may refer you to a Gastrointerologist (sp?). They can get you on some meds to help with this. Then, and this is my hope, you can get out and start tackling the anxiety that is likely causing the urgent bathroom episodes. Meds from my GI have changed my life. I still have issues but not nearly as often. Good luck!!!
Thankyou everyone for the advice i have tryed to feel positive not scared of going out just tummy upset takes over and i just can't get passed it, KC76 i understand what you are saying and i will contact my doctor i'll try anything if it means i'll be able to go out do you take the pills every day hope you don't mind me asking, thanks good luck to all
hi, let me say this and beleive me i dealt with it for years. you know when someone asks you out to eat of you go with friends or family. or another thing.when you go shopping or go on a flight.do not let excitment ruin what you think might be panic and anxiety and end up ruining what a good time you would have had had you gone.i have been there and done that.the IBS will get to you as well because you are over analizing all that will happen.will it be good or will i panic.just step out of your comfort zone and do it.i can not travel and drive over 10 hours and took a mission trip to brazil and it was a 10 hour flight and was in atlanta at the airport for 9 hour lay over.you can do it if i can.go read my profile an it will fill you in.the program will give you the skills and tools that you need to help you. but, you must practice them and get out.take care and be blessed. don this is the day that the Lord has made.let us rejoyce and be glad in it.
