Of course I want to change....bad habits, bad routines. I even believe I would be better off physically, metally w/out these unhealthy habits, traits I'm working to change. At first I thought it sounded so easy....think, then do. But I am now feeling overwhelmed by what I need to change -- smoking, caffeine, sugar....have successfully cut sugar in half, and caffeine to about a quarter. But in the midst of this I have a full time job, and voluteer @ my church on the weekends...and am struggling to let go of old habits & especially difficult to embrace the new ones. I am missing work often because of my anxiety/depression, so I know I need this program, it's just difficult @ times.

You hang in there, girl. You might want to cut down on the volunteer things and rest. It is more important for you to make it to work, so you don't lose your job. It takes time to change bad habits. I'm having the same problem.

I have been kinda thinking and feeling the same way. Those things "seem" (Key word there)! to be the only thing that Help get me through the day. When I quit smoking the first time. I can remember taking deep breaths and imagining I was smoking. And Oddly that worked- Didn't know why then, but I understand now. It was the breathing technique that helped the most. A week ago I had no idea what a panic attack was. I just thought I was experiencing a family heart condition to be ignored- for the fear of nasty surgeories and hostpital bills and future complications. anyways, off the subject- I'm in the same boat you are. I cant give much for advice. I'm just following instructions and replying to a fellow member of the forum. Good Luck and let me know how you manage.
