Just a little story of something that happened last night with my 8 yr. old daughter that made me think and may help others with "what if " thinking...Let me start by saying I am the world's worst "what ifer"...SO I was talking to my daughter last night about a party she was attending today. And she says, "Mommy what if I'm so sick tomorrow that I can't go to the party?" And I said your not going to be.(she was fine) And she says, "But what if Mommy." I really want to go..And I said,"It's not going to happen, so why are you worrying about it?"
Well, needless to say, I had to step back and listen to what I just said to her...So for all of you "what-if" thinkers I hope this helps..It sure made me listen to myself more closely...

Your post is biblical! Remove the plank in your own eye before taking the splinter out of your brother's eye.
You are on your way to peace and freedom.
Thanks for the post

Gee -- wouldn't we all be so much better off if we could take our own advice? I love those "aha" moments! Thanks for sharing your "aha" moment with us!

Lynnmarie,

Do you realize that you are teaching your very fortunate daughter the skills of this program!

I just had to add that she is SO
blessed to have you for her mother!

Good job!
Diane
