I can relate when you say you "don't know what to do". That is the thing about the program, it helps you know what to do. The anxiety you are feeling is from the thoughts you are thinking. It is necessary to understand the process of how your thinking can cause your body to have symptoms.

It would be good to have the program, but the anxiety will subside in time. Try to comfort and calm yourself as much as possible. This will allow your mind and body to heal naturally.

It takes getting to that breaking point when you say "enough is enough!" and I think it's the best time to start the program because you have that drive to want to really quick the anxiety in the butt. That's what happened to me. I'm on week 3 and doing really well, I'm so proud of my progress and I do see improvements. Though you must be veeeeery patient, I'm not fantastic and perfect, FAR from that! But my thoughts are slowly changing. For the first time ever at work tonight, I was calm when it got REALLY busy, normally I experience anxiety. They definitely do help. This is an investment into your mental and emotional well being, it's worth every penny.

First of all I would suggest getting the program. Save the money- work overtime etc. You really need to be able to listen to the tapes and do the workbook. However for a quick fix- I would suggest the following 1. Start to exercise- I know its hard but that will help with your depression. 2. Buy a relaxation tape - at least twice a day (morning and evening) lay down- close your eyes and listen to the tape. Breathe deeply- talk lovingingly and positively to yourself - tell yourself everything will be ok.3. Avoid alcohol and caffeine. 4. Read some positive books.
