hello cant find myself. Thanks for responding. Patience does not seem to be one of my virtues. When It does not seem to work I just get more anxious and sick feeling. It has been going on so long now that I HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING HOPE. Hope it is going better for you. Thanks again for your respose.

Do not give up....remember it took us all longer then three weeks to get where we are. My mind does not want change why would it, it has over powered me for so long...I think in this program I am finaly finding my intervoice I lost so many years ago. I keep forcing myself into better decisions because it is right and I am choosing to believe it will get easier eventhough it is not right now...YOU CAN DO THIS...Good Luck.

It must be something about Session 3. I decided to spend another week on it. I got discouraged last week and didn't put force enough effort. This is one topic I really need to work on. I forget to record all my negative thoughts, then feel as though I failed. So I just took a couple day break. I'm back though Smiler

K.Denise...Welcome Back...don't give up...I just put a check on a piece of paper for my negative thought so I would not revisit and get stuck on the thoughts...you will be fine and stronger everyday. Good Luck I hope you read this.

Thanks for the imput r.michelle. At times I feel like Ted that is on the audio in the group session. I feel as though I can distinguish between negative and positive. I do have a question, if a negative thought is factual how is it wrong to think it? (if it's a cloudy day that is just that in my mind). But I have my little pad of paper right beside me doing the best that I can.

K.Denise,

I hope you are doing well today....to the question you asked for me my mind tends to dwell on things instead of letting go. I keep the negative(factual or not) and the positive seems to be gone almost before it is thought or happens.

It may be a cloudy day but instead of oh bummer...why do we not think great what a perfect day to stay in and play games with the kids or I have been wanting to catch up on that book I started, ect....it's about changing what we see.

I started a workout group yesterday...I almost walked out but thought people would talk about me...why did I not just tell myself think about how good this will feel or give myself credit for being there...do you see what I mean?

You are making steps to live a better life...you are asking the right questions to help you get there...give yourself a hand. I could go on all day but I have to get to school..first day of spring semester. Hey...good luck and smile your doing it...

r.michelle: Your explantion makes a whole lot of sense. I've actually been doing really well with the self talk. I've even had a few people mention what a difference in my mood. Wow, that's an eye opener Smiler
Take care
