Hello and yes LOve, the season can let us drift into problems. Keep your focus and appreciate the finer things in life. Don't forget to take some "you time, and quite time".

Here is a article I found today and had wanted to share them with someone.

Your own thoughts are much more closely connected to you than they are to anyone else. So take care with them. Even if your negative thoughts are about someone else, the person who is most harmed by those thoughts is you. Your thoughts have a way of becoming your reality, even without conscious effort on your part. Your thoughts have a way of directing your actions, even though you may not have intended for them to do so. Take control of your thoughts. Don't waste too many of them on frivolous and trivial things. Make sure they don't lead you into a negative mindset or destructive actions. Use your thoughts to improve the quality of your life and the world around you. They're powerful, and they are yours to control and direct. Make the most of your thoughts and your living reality will reflect the effort.

i can completely relate. i am up here in Tok, AK where we get usually about 5 hours of daylight in the winter and most of the time, the sun is only out a few times a week.

to cope i've been doing the following:

1.exercising like mad. everyday for like 30-40 minutes. i got onto craigslist and got a gazelle glider for like $20.

2.taking a magnesium/calcium/vitamin d pill twice a day. (all these vitamins scared me at first but i got over that when i realized they were harmless and don't make you feel weird at all.)

3.taking a 50 mg b complex once a day.

4.taking a 500 mg vitamin c once a day.

5.taking vitamin e once a day. not sure on the mg for that. for all the ladies, this helps regulate hormones and my period passed this month with no panic attacks. just a bit of generalized anxiety.

6.get some full spectrum lights designed to treat SAD and spending the time i exercise in front of it with no lamp shade and watching t.v. or listening to music. just make sure the light can get to your eyes but don't stare at it.

All the seasons pass. You'll get through this hard time. I'm making it and two months ago I was in a psych ward and alternately housebound. You can for sure do it.

Just keep working the program and if you back slide, just keep doing it anyway. This recovery is a process that takes full assult on all fronts. Take care honey. You will be fine.

the above topic may help. I always feel better working outside in the yard and or with plants. B-complex has always been an uplifter for me. As I don't respond well to meds the Doctor advised me to build up to taking 6 fish oil/EPA caps a day. Good nutrition!

Best Wishes!
