Just wanted to say hi. I'm on my second week of the program. I will be starting a new job in a week and was in much need of some emotional support. So far, so good. I feel I'm getting better every day. It takes a lot of mental discipline.

In Jesus, all things are possible.

Hi Brooke Darcy,
Welcome aboard. Your are right. It does take a lot of mental discipline, but without discipline in any area of our lives we can't accomplish much. Good luck with your new job and practice, practice, practice your new skills. Let me know how it goes. I have faith in you and so does God.

Thanks for the reply. I am a baby Christian as some call it. I want to say that this entire condition brought the importance of Christ into my life. I was a very complacent Christian before this. It's nice to know that there are others like me. How long have you been with the program?

I am on my second week I am starting to feel mor positive. I love the relaxation tape. It has helped me alot.I am a christian I have been saved about 20 years. I have prayed and prayed for God to take these panic attacks away but he says in his holy word He will not put anymore on us than we can stand. But I am learning through these programs we do it to ourselfs. I pray these sessions help I am very positive about them. I would try anything to not have these panic attacks. People get me though they think Christians should not have panic attacks. I have other people in my church that have them. I love my Lord with all my heart soul mind and body but I still get panic attacks. I am choir leader and treasurer in my church I love doing things for my Lord. Maybe it is Gods will to heal me through this program.God Bles you both I hope to here more from you. Keep me in your prayers I will do same for you.

Hi my name is Monique and I just started the program 3 days ago. I have a lot of anxiety and also suffer with depression. I have had a very hard time sleeping for the past couple months. A dr put me on an anxiety med before bed which seems to help me get to sleep but I usually wake up 4-5 hours later. Has anyone else had this problem?

I also started 2 weeks ago. I am currently on 2 anti-depressants and have had trouble sleeping for what has been probably years now. I also would wake up after a few hours. And I was a really shallow sleeper. I tried taking melatonin out of the blue one day and it helps a lot.I just take it before bed. You might check with your doc???

I took Melatonin, but it didn't help. I think once I learn to deal with my anxiety i will be able to sleep through the night.

Monique,
I used to go see an acupuncturist regularly. I don't go anymore b/c I can't afford it. But, he introduced me to a chinese herb called Suan Zao Wren Wan (I think I spelled it correctly). It's also called Zizyphus in some places. Anyway, the object of this herb is to calm your heart and, in turn, help you to be calmer and rest easier at night. You take it in the AM and the PM. I buy it at my acupunturist's office, but you can also get it at health food stores or organic food stores. My bottle is only $6 and it lasts me a week and a half. I think it would be worth trying. Good luck! You've gotta get some good sleep!
