Hey there! Looking forward to this group support and the journey of fixing ourselves. I'm 41yrs old and I'm unemployed. Been out of work for almost 4 months now and dealing with more lows than highs from anxiety and depression for at least 2 months that I am aware of. On my 3rd different medication now and not convinced my issues are diminishing. The job I had was my 'dream-job' and I had such high aspirations for this perfect occupation in my work career. It all came to a 'crash and burn' revelation as the discouraging, bleek realities of the current economy became devastatingly true in my present life. Such a tremendous disappointment at a very pivotal time for me. All my hopes, dreams, and goals have become so far removed its a difficult challenge to even identify one. The job prospects for my field of employment in the area I live are very few. The few jobs that are out there would either require re-schooling/re-training or relocating to a entire different area or both. None of which I can financially afford to do, let alone have the desire to do. Well, there you have it....what I am confronted with and has ultimately caused my steady decline within myself.
