Hi all! I finished the program recently and just made a huge change in my life. I moved to a new city and am starting a new job. I just graduated college and had lived at home for a while in order to do the program and work on my anxiety. Now, a job opened up that I couldn't pass up and I just moved today, 3 hours away from home, and start my job tomorrow. I realize this is a time that anyone would have anxiety, but I haven't felt my anxiety in a while and this is the first time I've felt it really strong since the program. I am trying to be positive and calm myself down, but I am constantly feeling alone.

Any advice or encouragement as to how this change can go a little smoother? I am trying to stay positive and calm my "empty feeling" down, but I guess I just need some boost from others who understand. Thanks!

Are you sure its anxiety and not excitement? How awesome to move and start a new job! I can tell you starting a new job in a new place is always a little scary but alot of fun What an adventure!Just remember that anxiety is normal and the biggest thing is you have all the tools to handle ANY thing thrown at you.

I made a huge move 10 years ago. I moved to a different state all by myself. You have so much to look forward to. You will make new friends and that emptiness will be gone in no time. Look at it as an adventure. Your in control and your exploring the world outside of what you were used to. Its great. Good luck with your new job. You have your whole life ahead of you now and you can make it what ever you want it to be. Congratulations!!!! Cool Congratulations!!!
