Hi - I know, we got slammed here in Columbus, too! Teenage boys are sometimes not the greatest sources of comfort and support. My 15-yr old came into my room last night, talking away about all his stuff. I listened willingly and interacted with him and then shared something I was going through - something lightweight, that he was connected with but not responsible for. He yawned and said he really needed to get to sleep. I was hurt and let him know and then said goodnight.
Then I smiled to myself, thinking about what I had learned in Session 4 about unrealistic expectations. I went into his room and hugged him and kissed his cheek and said, "I love you." He ate this up and said he loved me too and smiled. He is a great kid and I am blessed. Smiler
Hang in there. I know I am just an anonymous fellow-struggler but if you ever need to talk, I am willing to listen and support if I can. Smiler - It will get better. Keep the faith.

We will pray for you guys it has to be hard but you are going to be the stronger for it if you allow yourself to be.
Keep telling yourself I do this.
The Lord will be with you and you won't be alone. Read His word that gives you strenght.
I can do all things thru Christ who gives me strength Philp. 4:13
You can do this!!!!!!!! Your son is going to see how you can do it and he is going to be strong for it too.
