I have had the cd's for three weeks but am just getting through week 1. I think I am trying to do it too perfectly and am feeling overwhelmed and doubtful.

I just opened the box today, keep me on your list we will work together. I'm excited to be doing this and can't wait to shed the demons.

I will be right there with you along with 1000's of others, just keep coming back and ask for support. It's here and you don't have to look, it's looking for you. I know, it's working for me and I just opened the box.

A smile is just a friend away!!

Know the felling very well, that perfect stuff is what gets people like us in trouble. sometimes i have trouble in pleasing myself, but not a good person in giving advise. Iv,e had the program a year and a half and still have not finished it yet,but still trying. The half of the program I have finished has helped a lot.
Good luck and go at your own pace and Im sure you to will see a difference.

I would recomend to just move on to the next session. Week 1 is more of an introduction and you will benefit greatly by moving on to the other sessions and just keep trying your best to apply what you learn to your life in all the sessions. I do not believe I have ever felt 100% comfortable with mastering a session before moving on but each time I do move to the next session I feel a little bit better and that is what this whole program is about. Keep with it.

Well welcome to the program. I am in the second week and feel it is starting to make a difference. You don't have to be perfect at it but if you practice the different techniques as much as you can it helps a lot. Good luck

I also am a perfectionist and have been thinking I "should" Smiler do week 2 again, but after having read Momt'y Mom's advice, I will move on to week 3 tomorrow. Thanks, MM! Just this type of doubting self gets us all into the negative pattern...the teeny, tiny doubts that we do not nip in the bud. Thank God we will learn to do this and become more & more healthy.
And I thank God for all of you.

I am completing lesson one/week one. I also would like to support people doing the program. I have high hopes and will give it my best effort. I need to get a real life, free of daily anxiety, monitoring of my body and panic. I just got the program delivered early this week.

I agree with all of you. I am so tired of living this way. I start week 3 in about 2 days and am looking forward to it. We all need support from each other and it is great you are all out there willing to help each other. Thanks for that and I am always here to chat if needed.

Thanks everyone for your support! I am in the middle of week 2 and just keep moving ahead. I think nipping the little doubts in the bud is a big one for me. I don't realize the stress and pressure I am putting on myself until I am already well into a place of anxiety. And accepting "not being perfect is ok" is a big part of that. I am afraid if I don't do it just right it won't cure me and I have been living with this for 20 years!!!

I am in my first week also. I am very hopeful that it will help me with driving ect... I just want control of my life back. I take Adivan for panic attacks now but my goal is to eventually not take any meds. Thankyou all for being out there to talk to.

Hi Wendy,
Just wanted to welcome you to the group. I used to have panic attacks too. The second audio interviews a group, some who used the program along time ago and new people. It was so helpful to hear different ones that all dealt with panic attack, but overcame them permanently.I ordered the program because I was dealing with severe depression and anxiety.I want my life back too. I'm in Lesson 3 and have improved so much already. I know you will too. You are in the right place.I'm here if you need to talk.

I am just on week 2. I find that it is working. I am starting to notice my body symptoms more but it is because I have finally learned how to pay attention to them. I am using the positive self-talk and I am able to get through them. I am looking forward to week 3. Good luck to everyone.
