First - thanks to all of you who routinely post. There are some of us out here that do not post a lot but we take a great deal from reading others' experiences. I've just begun week 5 and I am seeing good progress, as is my wife. She is as excited as I am.
MY QUESTION... I have taken a half mg of lorazepam at bed for more than a year to help with sleep. I am trying to get away from the use of this and stopped taking it a week ago. I am waking up each night now (again), but am able to get back to sleep after some relaxation exercises. Even though I am waking each night, I am not feeling "exhausted" in the morning. (My wife caught me whistling during breakfast a few days ago, something she has not heard me do in YEARS!) Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Does the program help get you back to a "sound sleep" pattern? Thanks for any input. |

I wasn't able to do Lorazepam but I am on Ambein to help me fall asleep and I have to say that I haven't used it but once in two weeks since I started the program and I am really excited about that. I had so much trouble getting to sleep with my mind thinking about so many things and then the adreneline kicks and and forget it I would have to get up and start all over. Same thing when I would wake up at night, I got to where I would just get up right away because I knew I was not going back to sleep anytime soon. But hey, now that you mention it I did not wake up last night! Yeah, Thanks for helping me see that!
