I was having the same thing and I had my sugar levels checked, all normal. I think that all the adrenaline, and cortisol takes a lot out of our bodies and we probably need to fuel ourselves with good healthy food on a regular schedule. Ive just cut out all sugar and refined carbs and i am trying to eat something every 4 hours even if its an apple and a small piece of cheese. I think that protein is very important for our bodies to begin healing from all this stress.

If you are exercising regularly then you might try eating every 3 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a big meal, but something healthy with a good mix of carbs and protein. Also if you avoid sugar and caffeine your energy level and blood sugar will remain more level and you should avoid having those body symptoms. A real solid breakfast helps to, gets your body fueled for the day. You could have an egg and cheese sandwich on whole wheat and some fruit, granola and yogurt with a healthy muffin.....things that are healthy but also substantial.

Hi Panicked,
I agree with all the other posts. I have been eating breakfast and lunch everyday and felt much better. Today I just didn't eat at all, just drank water all day and by late this afternoon my head was pounding and I just felt weak and really fatigued. Tomorrow I will be eating well again for sure. Give it a try for a few days then miss a day you will feel the difference. Have a good night, Be Kind To Yourself. BELIEVE YOU CAN CONQUER ANYTHING~ AND YOU WILL !! I DID IT, YES !!!!! |

Old Habits are sooooo hard to break, it takes a lot of self control and what made it easier for me was to not buy the junk foods I loved to eat. Yes they were calling to me in the grocery store but I smiled and just said sorry not anymore...I never want to feel the yucky ways those foods made me feel ever again. I'm clean for just over a month now...that to me is a cause to celebrate with a nice glass of cold spring water...ok it's boring but better than feeling cranky, tired, sluggish, and sick. RIGHT????? Come on someone agree with me!! LOL
Good Luck...no candy, yummmmmm BELIEVE YOU CAN CONQUER ANYTHING~ AND YOU WILL !! I DID IT, YES !!!!! |

Thanks for your support you are right I do not want to feel this way anymore. I need to be be the stronge one and not let chocolat take charge of me. I'm the one with the brain after all. I have been free of chocolate now for two days, thats a long time for me. and feeling a little less cranky.
