I wish my panic attacks were just a slight numbness or pain in my head, when I get them they are terrifying. All of a sudden my heart might palpitate which scares me and sends me into a full blown panic attack. Usually, my heart is pounding in my chest so fast it is scary. I used to think my heart would beat so fast I was going to have a heart attack, until A Dr. told me I can't die from a panic attack as scary as it is. One time when I was really stressed out I had a severe one where I even took a pill to relax and my heart started pounding fast again. The only thing that worked for me that day was going outside and lying on my porch in a fetal position just trying to breath. I kept praying and praying. This worked.
