So this week my goal is to get on the elliptical at minimum 3 times this week. I find I sure do sleep better in the evenings when I get some form of exercise in.

I am in week three of the program and if there are any negative thoughts, I am sure they will crop up concern exercising. Not to worry though, I have my positive tools in hand (and mind) and are ready to do battle in a positive way.

So what is on the exercise agenda for everyone else this week? Wink

HI Wish,

I don't have much time at night or in the morning to exercise. I am a full time accountant and a father of twin 2 year olds. So, I try to get a few workouts a week in during my lunch break. Luckily, the gym is in the basement of my building at work. I am usually gung ho for a few weeks, and then I fizzle out and don't go for a while. I am hoping to break that habit this time around, now that i have some of the skills from the program. Good Luck to you!

One day at a time because slow and steady seems to be the only thing to win the race. My goal is to one day exercise every day and have it feel like something as simple as brushing my teeth. However, in the meantime slow and steady and a Yipppppeeeeeee.

Letting go of panic and allowing peace.

Wish - congratulations on your goal. I have been exercising on a daily basis since May 15, 2008. I started slow with walking and now power walk three miles every day - rain or shine, or snow. My motivation is simple - I sleep. I had insomnia and the working out lets me sleep. It is now just a part of my day, like brushing my teeth. Keep positive, you can do it.

LisaLisa, thank you for the feedback. SLEEP, it is such a beautiful thing and for so long I thought I needed a pill to help me relax and fall asleep. Thirty minutes of exercise has shown me that sleep can come natural for me along with the relaxation tapes. Good for you on getting that exercise in every day. I will get there one day and when I do, I will be doing an even happier dance than the one I am currently doing.
