I'm in my second week and it seems like there is so much information to absorb. I think I need to stick with lesson 2 for a couple of weeks. Was wondering if anyone else felt the same. I know we are all doing the best we can and I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We should be thankful that we all found this great program!

Lesson 2 was a break through for me. It told me what was causing the panic attacks, it was ME! It let me know the thinking process up to a paninc and also the chemicals our body releases into our system, all that adrenaline! Whew, know wonder. Now I have learned that when a body symptom comes (such as chest pressure or dizziness) that I was the one who brought it on by being anxious whthout knowing it and I had tensed my chest muscles! So now I dont add the 'second fear' to a sypmtom and refuse to think 'oh it's my heart' etc etc
Now If a symptom comes I have learned to let it float through me real fast and it is gone! Knowledge is indeed power! Read and absorb all you can about anxiety. When you start to feel better, dont quit the program! Finish itthen go back through it again, especially reread the workbook. |
