Not exactly new, but discouraged. We all have to learn not to throw the baby out with the bath water, don't we.
Anyway, thanks to the program for jump-starting me out of a serious depression. However, I quit long ago because (1) i felt there was too much flattering of the ego (that's just diametrically opposed to Real Self confidence, in my view) and (2) the huge number of repetitions of stories and the continual showing of Linda's pretty face were annoying to me. I'm struggling for Reality; I'm convinced that we're not the body!

Hello, I am also new. I'm glad to be here and hope to learn alot. Annxiety and depression has been an issue with me for as long as I can remember. I have been in and out of therapy and have been hospitalized twice. Unfortunitly medication was not the answer for me. However, In therapy I had started cbt then could not afford to go to therapy any longer. I made a choice that this is the last year im going to just let slide by with out being active in my life.

Hi, I really hope this helps. I have done the first session, but I felt like it was a continuing infomercial promoting the Midwest Center. I hope the next session focuse more on tools and not how good the program is.

Yes!!! However, I feel that you'll find a few sessions that are really good and helpful. Otherwise, lots of repetitive personal stories.

All the best to you.

I'm new at this too. I sort of feel better that I am trying the program but it is making me nervous because I feel like it is my only hope and I'm afraid it won't work and I am so desperate for help. Trying to stay positive. At least it's nice to see that we're all in this together. Sometimes it just helps knowing you're
not alone.

On the way to work, I used to pray as I drove, "Creative Power of the Universe, if you exist, please take ,.. over completely." He/She did, even tho at the time I was agnostic. I became known as one of he best speech therapists in the Puget Sound region in Washington state. No credit to me!

Want to try it?

All the best to you.

Follow the program and you will feel better. You have to stay with it and remember your not alone. Before this program I was so alone and felt so empty, now each day I work on my goals...Remember we can make our life what we want...

I started this program about 2 weeks ago now and it's going.....I just can't find the time to get all the things in. I think I'm ready to move on a topic but then I'm not sure cause I didn't get to journal everyday or listen to the relaxation tape 3 times a day. Am I anxious over the program?

I am going to be short because I will have to get accustom to opening up to a group of this nature. I am taking my time with each lesson. I am not using the relaxation tape as often as suggested, but I use it when go to bed. The quality and quantity of rest I get at night is so much better. I took my time on Session 1. I have completed session 2. I am beginning lesson 3 this week. I read with detailed purpose.

To Whomever, I was really shocked when the lesson said that the panic and anexiety are from within you. It at first made me feel that I wasn't a good person. It's like you can't have room in your body for 2 masters. I chose a long time ago to serve the Lord, but if I have these struggles how can I serve? I know I shoud be reading Battlefield of the mind but have temporarily misplaced it. I rebuke the evil one when I start feeling panicky and anxious and pray for filling of peace, calmness and joy and it does seem to be helping .Mary

Bless your heart, don't you know that this struggle continues life-long for everyone who lives in Truth?? The best solution is to follow your conscience as best you can, based on the readings that are in harmony with your particular faith. And it helps to know that all faiths that are not fundamentalist, are basically the same. "There is only one God and He is Love."

It's earnestly suggested that you make spiritual seeking a REGULAR part of your life, 7 days a week. All true spiritual routes are basically the same, except for fundamentalism which tends to be rigid regardless of religion.

All the best to you!!

Hi, Iam country girl, I just joined the chat, but have been in the program since Feb. I can't exercise or walk as I always have since I need knee surgery. I hate gaining weight when I have been a very active young looking person even tho I am turning 75. I guess I feel sorry for my self, even tho I have never done that before. Help me.
