I can't seem to wake up. I have cut down on my caffeine intake, and don't know if that is what is causing me to be tired all the time. The program I bought came with the "Good Days" vitamins. But it seems ever since I started taking them, I don't feel better or more alert, just more tired.
I have trouble doing the Relaxation tape 3 times a day. I do it at night before I got to bed. I am still filled with anxiety, and feel like because I am so tired all the time, I can't concentrate on the lessons or what I am supposed to be doing.
I made a Dr. Appt today to discuss my medications. I just feel fustrated.

I am the same way. I have difficulty getting out of bed in morning and then I feel tired all day long. I get plenty of sleep about 8 hrs a night so there should not be any excuse. I have moved my alarm clock away from my bed stand so that way I have to get up to shut it off. I then find that if I exercise in the morning then that also helps wake me up. The no caffeine thing is killing me but, I found that the suggestion to drink green tea is okay.

Just a few suggestions for you. I am not sure if they will work for you.

Good luck, Sara

Hi Laura:

When I started the program in May, I was sososososo tired, all the time. Tired from experiencing such high levels of adreneline surging through my body 24/7, tired of holding on to myself, tired of being depressed, tired from life, but mostly from fighting the anxiety and depression. I'm learning to let go of it all. When you let yourself go with acceptance, your body begins to heal. This takes time and you need to be gentle with yourself. If you were taking care of someone suffering from emotional and physical exhaustion, you would nurture them, speak quieter, move more carefully. Do this for yourself. Be kind and speak gently to yourself. Listen to soothing music to bring down some of that anxiety, take a walk outside no matter the weather. Just take really good care of yourself and listen to your lessons at least 3X a week. Try to meditate as much as you can....all this will fall into place and just know that you are physically and emotionally exhausted and this is all part of the recovery. Be patient, it takes a little time.

My best to you.
Lynn

This is so good Wings, You are so right, I found my adrenals where shot! from years of pushing to hard to keep all my commitments, I had to pare down my "doings" work through the list of all the things you feel you have to do and cut back by 1/2 give your self time to heal, the book "Stressed out on your way to Burn out" suggests you cut back on sugar as well as careen. all stimulants so your adrenals can heal it took me years but my holistic Dr. has never worked with any one who's adrenals were so flat lined. but they are coming back on line and so is my life. One of the many positive things you will learn from this program is to slow, down, and enjoy life!!! there is a forum about adrenal depletion, go there I found it very informative.

Cheri {8^) keep looking up

Hey 1055,

Missing the caffeine so bad because your not stimulating the adrenal glands with the false stimulant in coffee in turn gives you adrenaline power although it's a false energy.Vitamins you really will not feel there benefit, but they are working. Most people I talk to they say,"I don't feel any different or better".I tell most people you really won't experience how the vitamins are working for you until you stop taking them, then you will realize how they are working for you.Sounds strange ,but that's the way it is,so keep taking your vitamins and hydrating your body to help remove toxins !!!

Hope this helps
