I am still on session 2 as well. I am still having a hard time relaxing though. Is anyone else having problems with the relaxation tape? I know we all have a hard time relaxing and some say don't even know how. How true it is.
How are things going for you on session 2? Just curious how you're doing.

Every day gets better huh?

Well I didn't get to start Session two yesterday, so today is my "real" day 1 lol

What I'm finding with the relaxation tape, is that it used to relax me but now I'm finding it's causing me think of my anxiety & ocd, so when I go to sleep I dream about it and then wake up anxious. I hate that part! I'm not sure if it'll pass and if I should just keep doing it, or what. I didn't this morning, so I still need to listen to it twice today, so I can get my 3rd in tonight.

I am however, finding that when I get anxious I can relax better & what she's saying in the CD to help. "I am calm. My mind is quiet" that really helps, if I repeat that & breath slowly. It's amazing how it works if I keep at it.

It is hard, but I think it's a good hard! Because lots of good things are coming from it Smiler

Hang in there you guys, you can do it! ♥

depression here too...hang in there. I'm on week 6 it does get better, try not to give your self a "deadline" flow with the process...week by week....it's a gradual process...that is one of my hardest things to accept...as with all of us we want it yesterday!

Hi,

Yes this program really does work. I was just recommending it to someone yesterday. Keep plugging along, listen as many times as you have to and keep trying. I also got a recommendation for a book that I find helpful. It's called "Freedom from Fear by Dr. Howard Leibgold." I would say it presents many of the same things as Lucinda, but says them in a different way. Kind of like hearing it in 2 different ways. Sometimes one way enters your brain better than another. I have been thru the program for a while and things that really help me today are eating well and staying away from sugar and caffeine. If I choose to have them it's fine, but they are special. Not an everyday all the time thing. Also, daily cardio exercise is a Godsend and I find that doing yoga and Pilates have really been exquisite. Like the cherry on the sundae for me. The breathing and doing things that you never thought you could... It is awesome. I still feel crappy sometimes mostly PMS, etc. but my self-talk can recognize the downward spiral better and I can abort it by going to the gym and sweating away the stress.

Good luck all of you. Keep at it-- you have a wonderful life ahead of you.

Terri
