This will be my 1st time on a plane and I need something to listen to, like a book on audio or something and Lucinda's voice is comforting to me. But since I have the Attacking Anxiety &Depression program already, would her books be a waste? Are the books more for people NOT on the program? Are they basically the same material? TIA for any input and/or suggestions on other things to listen to while flying for the 1st time.
Listening to Louise Hayes affirmation meditation cds are really comforting for me. She has some on many topics. I have her stress/anxiety affirmations and letting go of fear affirmations. She has many others though, you may want to take a look at them at a bookstore. Have a wonderful flight. I always get a little nervous on airplanes too but you know what I noticed, the time flies lol. It really does go by fast and before you know it, you're at your destiny. Take care.
Book? are you speak of Lucinda's book called "From Panic to Power book" If you ask if its waste.. NOPE its not waste it is worth it! You could bring your program cds with you listen it while you are flying. I think MWC also sell audio for something relating to flying check the online store on this site. Other books you could check out are Louise Hayes, Susan Jeffers, they are great books too
"You're not a failure if you don't make it; you're success because you try" By Susan Jeffers
The MWC online store has a resource called "Achieving Comfortable Flight", which includes several tapes. At $70 it seems a little pricey though. I've never flown but hope to one day. (well, except as a small child in my aunt's private plane, which I really don't remember, other than it being fun at the time! )
In regards to Lucinda's book "From Panic to Power", I read it prior to purchasing the program. It's good, but more as a supplement to the actual "Attacking Anxiety & Depression" program. It doesn't replace it. I believe in one of the tapes Lucinda suggests reading it after completing the AA&D course.
