Hi everybody,
So I'm about to begin week 9 in a few days and i feel like i have come a long way since the beginning. This program has helped me overcome lots of fears and emotions. This time of my life is really hard because i am getting married in 3 weeks and then going really far away for my honeymoon. I'm extrememly scared of flying to Tahiti because I have never like flying and i'm scared of having lots of panic attacks. I know this will be a huge test for me!!! i just keep worrying that i'm going to ruin our honeymoon by being depressed or nervous the entire time...i'm trying really hard to stay positive and let myself know that i'm excited and that's why i'm having these thoughts. I'm also scared about the wedding because there will be about 300 guest and i must get in front of all these people....i'm trying really hard to focus on the present moment and stop anticipating, but it's really hard for me...if anyone could give me some positive feedback it would be really helpful.. |

Hey gal don't get into all those 'what-if's'! WOW you should be focused on all the FUN you will have rather than on the negative. Remember what one of the cd's (or was it the workbook?) where it says "panic and anxiety has never hurt you before and it NEVER WILL!" One day after I started driving again I was at a stoplight(used to be a biggie for me!) I felt the dizziness and disconnected feeling coming at me and I remembered those words, repeated them in my mind and that stopped it right then! Bunny Boo just use the program, focus on the present when wedding day arrives remember it doesn't have to be perfect, it is your day, just breath stay clam and relax and stay in the present, you and your husband to be that's all it's about, I am only in Lesson 5 and have been able to do three things I couldn't do before without Xanax. I gave a presentation, went to the Doctor, and rode in a car for 2 1/2 hours with out one panic attack and this is total success for me. I stayed in the present and just kept telling myself I was calm and reaxed and I kept myself calm and relaxed. I wouldn't let any What ifs in enter my mind. Go back to Lesson 1 & 2 and relisten to them it may help. Good Luck and congratulations on starting your new life. It will all go off without a hitch. I know about the flying that is my next step without drugs. Probably in February. Let me know how you make out. Use the program you will get through it and have a ball!

Hello! I am talking from experience when I say everything will be ok on your wedding day. I was just married in August and started this program because my anxiety was bringing a lot of anxiety and panic when planning the wedding. I was so nervous and the day and week before turned out wonderful. I was so relaxed, I couldnt even believe it. You will do wonderful
