When I ordered the program, they sent me a 30 day free sample of Positive Mood Formula Supplement. (they also sell it a gnc) I was wondering if any one has tried this in the past or are currently taking it. What do you feel?

I haven't tried it, but it is hard to believe that mood comes in a pill. I will stick to the drug-free route as much as possible. You never know though it might work.

Hello:
I felt better on the Positive Mood
Supplements included with the program.
They actually are not "drugs".
They are natural ingredients.

Many questions have been asked on here about these vitamins.
Some say they couldn't take them; Other's (like me) say they have benefited from them.

I hope you get the information that you need about them. Perhaps others will post here some of their experiences with them.
Best of luck.

I am currently taking the vitamin. I don't know if there is a difference in my moods. I am also on Effexor; they haven't hurt me??

Hello Debbie A.
I don't think you are supposed to take
those supplement (good days) while you are taking an anti-depressant.
You see these vitamins have 50 mlg. of 5-htp in them.
5-htp increases Seretonin (sp?) like an anti-depressant does.
and I think they say not to take those vitamins if you are taking the prescribed medication.
You might check on this.
Cause I'm not certain about it.
Take care!
MJ

Hello, that was my concern. I am on medicine and didn't know if they would interact or not. So far I don't haven't seen any symtoms.

The best thing to do is take it to your doctor or pharmacist and see what they say. That is my opinion. I take them every once in a while and with the anti-depressant I am on they seem to make things worse sometimes but everyone is different. Hope this helps. Confused

I am 20 years old and up until 3 years ago I was on medication for anxiety and bipolar disorder. When I was 6 I was diagnosed with bipolar and from then on medication was my constant companion. I spent many years not knowing who I was off of medication. I didn't know if my behavior was mine or just a side effect.

Since I have gotten off of pills I dislike medications. In fact I dislike medicine so much that I avoid ibprofen and the like. Please don't take it personally if I am skeptical. You said they are natural ingredients. Might I ask what those natural ingredients are? I'm kind of curious.

God bless,
Krissy

Hi Daneen08, It is nice to meet you; I thought I would respond to your Post. I have been taking the Good Days Supplements since Sept. 2007. I take them every morning with a light meal. I avoid (as recommended by Lucinda’s Program) Caffeine, excess sugar and also highly processed foods.
In the past year, my strength, confidence, coping skills and effectiveness have improved Greatly. I believe that part of my success is due to the supplements. I don't think I could have competed in this race unless my body had the appropriate fuel needed to allow my mind to do the necessary work to overcome the effects of Depression and Anxiety on my Life.
What I Feel is Relief... and it feels Good. Seadog

If you are currently taking any medications, take the package in with you to your doctor. My psychiatrist was very careful with my medications and the herbal suplements I was already taking, one of the nutrients I had to stop taking. Just wanted to key you in on t
his. Some doctors don't even ask. If you are taking medications and want to try the supplements please see your doctor first. Good luck! Smiler

I agree you should check with your doctor before taking any supplements if you are on an anti-anxiety or anti-depression medication. I am not on any so I have been taking the Positive Mood periodically. The ingredients are L-Theanine, Magnolia Brk Extract, 5-HTP, Panax Ginseng, and Rhodiola Rosea. I've also been taking 400 mg of SAM-e (S-adenosylmethionine) which has helped to boost my mood and emotional well-being as well as help with some arthritis problems I have. So you may want to look into SAM-e as well as Lucinda's product.

I've been taking Lucinda's vitamins for a couple months now and have noticed a huge difference in my mood, my ability to focus, and my energy. While some are skeptical about their effectiveness, I've found that they are beneficial to MY well being and that makes all the difference to me!
