The Dr. said on the session 5 cd that broccoli became the same amount of sugar as in a chocolate candy bar. Now I am quite a healthy eater and I've never heard anybody, not even my old nutritionist recommend not eating broccoli or carrots. Also, it is the not the same type of sugar, one if processed and comes from a cane while one is from a vegetable. Was he suggesting to avoid broccoli and carrots?

Often at night I wake up feeling starved and instead of eating cereal or toast or etc., I usually have a bowl of broccoli cooked and ready in the fridge. I thought this was a great thing!

Note: The nutrient profiles provided in this website are derived from Food Processor for Windows, Version 7.60, by ESHA Research in Salem, Oregon, USA. Of the 21,629 food records contained in the ESHA foods database, most of them - including those of the World's Healthiest Foods - lacked information for specific nutrients. The designation "--" was chosen to represent those nutrients for which there was no measurement included in the ESHA foods database.
