Just started session 5. I have been on the south beach diet for a while with good results.
This just confirms that yuor diet is a big thing. I started to go to the gym last week and am finding It really helps with anxiety and depression. I stopped caffiene and try to stay away from sugar products. I do cheat on occasion. I tell myself these are big steps. My wife is behind me all the way. She also follows the program dvd's and cd's. She understands more of what I've put myself thru and her. |

That's great exercise always seems to help I lost 55 lbs. before the program with WeightWatchers it was pretty easy to follow keep up the good work!!!

Not to knock the South Beach thing, it has great results, may I suggest you change ONLY one thing?? If you eat their supplement bars, change over to the Atkins bars. Way less sugar, same vitamins/minerals/fiber, etc. and South Beach uses alot of "Sugar Alcohols" which can cause lower GI upset. You will love them, they tast great, and I recommend the shakes too! You have less of a hypoglycemic rebound with the Atkins products, but as a diet, I love the South Beach.

Is it wrong to eat fruits and have honey?

I believe eating natural foods and staying away from processed foods is the way to go.As long as you are not over doing it with the fruit and honey.I usually dont eat breads,pasta,potatoe.
Very little if not any sugar.I do eat a variety of different meat and veggies.Old saying,an apple a day keeps the doctor away! |

I try not to eat too many starches.
