Basically the book just reinforces what the tape says. Avoid concentrated sweets. Eat a healthy low fat diet. Exercise everyday, build it slowly. Ban caffeine from your diet. Drink lots of water. I can tell you from my experience that exercise does help. It builds your self esteem and the health benefits are great. Yesterday, I ate sweets all day long. I paid for it last night. I was very anxious. Today, I am going to better and you can count on that. I drink lots of water, am caffeine free and I sleep better due to no caffeine in my diet. Even when I'm really anxious when I go to bed, I am able to fall asleep and get a fair amount of sleep. I recommend following the food group plan for a well balance diet. Also, take a multiple vitamin daily. If you have any other health benefits you would like to obtain from supplements, I would talk to my doctor if I were you. For instance, I have a lot of allergies, so I take Vitamin E, which is a great antioxidant, Vitamin C which is also an antioxidant, I take Calcium because I am 41 and am trying to prevent osteoporosis, that's mostly a female thing. But nothing beats a healthy diet. God Bless you
