I am very afraid to take medications and when I do try them I'm not sure what is a side effect of the med or if what I'm feeling is just servere anxiety. So my doctor now wants me to try ginko biloba. has anyone got any advice or ever tried this herb. It's in a capsule form and looks like a pill so I'm still afraid. He also thinks it might help with pms problems. Thanks so much

try it for a week, and if you have a "bad" reaction, then talk to your doc.
I always check what the side feects are before i take a new med, so I am not scared if something unusual is happening in my body.

i'm not sure why your doc wants you take gingko biloba............but i am adding a really wonderful sile (drugdigest.org), that will give you so reputable/reliable insight on the herb. the site is great for checking out drug to drug interactions as well.

one thing i do know for sure, is that gingko has blood thinning tendencies, so you need to be careful taking gingko if you are a taking aspirin, or other OTC meds like aleve or ibuprofen etc.
