Hi brighterdays,
Running is one of my favorite sports. I started out running on the treadmill for twenty minutes and then moved on to half an hour. I now run two miles every week and alternate that with treadmill running and walking as well as working out with an aerobics video at home. I find that its a good way of controlling my weight and relieving stress. I definately suggest you take up running but start out slowly until you have built up enough endurance to run two miles. Start out by walking on the treadmill for half an hour. Give it a few weeks or months and then walk for five minutes to warm up and run for fifteen minutes. Your body will let you know when you are ready for more. Running and walking are great ways to relieve anxiety. Best Wishes, Lili |

I don't run. I jog.
I started out by running the distance between two hydro (electic) poles, and walking the distance of three. I slowly increased it to one, and one and now to none. If there aren't hydro poles in your area than try jogging a minute and walking 5 minutes. As you increase your stamina you can then jog one minute and walk 4 minutes, and so one and so on... I now jog 5 or more km non stop about 5 times per week. I'm not sure I understand why you want to join the army. Good luck |
