Carolyn - or anyone
I saw your reply to the suggestion to eat fish. I've heard flaxseed is good for you, but would you mind sharing how it helps you?
Thanks
Patti

Aisha,
Thanks for the info. Do you eat it? I think I've seen it once and it doesn't look very appealing. But then I like my girl scout cookies!

Well since nobody grabbed this topic, I'll try. EFA's are thought to help lower your cholesterol. Don't ask me how, it's too early in the morning. Do a search on Flax oil; you should get more information than you need.

Or rather, search flaxseed oil. Told you it was too early.

So Sorry Patti, I didn't see this until today.

Flaxseed oil has been placed in the same category as fish oil...I prefer the capsules but I understand that one must be careful about expiration dates.

I have high cholestrol (going down from 375 yikes!) so I often grind the seeds up and put them in all sorts of things. I use the whole seeds in homemade bread.

(Have I recommended making homemade bread from scratch as therapy? I started after my mom died years ago -bec. she made bread all the time.)

Best to all, Carolyn
