Hi,
Does anyone know if food allergies/sensitivities have an impact on their stress or anxiety level? Besides sugar and caffeine has anyone seen a relationship to certain foods they eat and their anxiety? Beth |

Hi,other food allergies that cause some anxiety for me that I notice are the Carbohydrates found in white flour and starches like white rice and potatoes.

Hi Beth,
Most certainly!! Food allergies can cause so many different things such as headaches, depression, chest pains, ear noises, dizziness, arthritis, etc. I have done some research on this because of my food allergies and was amazed at how they can affect one's body. I know that's not all that contributes to my anxiety because it's all more complex than that. But when I watch what I eat, I can eliminate some of the other symptoms. Marty |

Hi again,
Thanks for the reply on food allergies/sensitivities. I just found out this Spring that I am allergic/sensitive to all kinds of molds which includes yeast products, fermented foods, mushrooms, alot of cheeses, etc. After I eliminated them from my diet after a month, my energy level soared. I was so amazed. I also was not so irritable/grouchy according to my husband. It is comforting to know that others have seen a relationship to food and their mood too. I am so amazed how everything is so related. Beth |
