I need to stop my coffee but need help thinking of something that is warm to drink in the morning. Tea has caffine so that is no good.I am always so cold in the morning and need somthing warm...Don't care much if I loose my caffine it is just the warmth.

This section is hard for me because I do everthing wrong except for booz...Stopped smoking this morning. But I think I can do it this time because I have the skills to talk positivley to myself...

Any help with the something warm to drink would be great.

Thanks Misty

Hi Misty:

Congrats on starting to change your diet and health!

Many herbal teas don't have caffeine. Most grocery store have a pretty large selection nowadays -- just make sure it says "no caffeine" on the box/bag.

Warm milks is another option for you. I just pop it in the microwave -- it's very soothing!

Hmmmm, let's see. There's always decaf coffee and tea if you're into that. Making your own hot cocoa is an idear. Using the baking cocoa powder instead of chocolate drink mixes allows you to control the sugar. Yeah, there's a little caffeine in it but only a tiny bit. Hot Ovaltine is good and there's no caffeine in that.

Another one I like is hot lemonade. Cut one thin slice from a lemon and squeeze the juice from the rest of the lemon in a mug. Add about a cup of water and the lemon slice and sweeten to taste with honey or sugar. Heat it up in the microwave and it's very tasty. Smiler

Thanks you guys..I will give the milk and the lemonade a try...I love the taste of coffee so I think it is best just to get away from it instead of the decafe...That way a moca can be my treat at the end of the week.

Thanks again
Misty
