i am one of the vomiting anxious people, the slight twinge of anxiety or nervousness and my stomach starts the kickboxing.
I have a very hard time eating, i can't remember the last time i ate a healthy meal, sometimes soda cracker or soup broth is it for the day.
I am starting to realize that nurtition plays an important role in anxiety, but when i feel anxious i can't eat, it'll just come up and that makes me very panicky, also i can have an anxiety attack just thinking about eating (especially at a restaurant, or someone's house),
wondered if anyone has any tips? also i am a vegetarian, no eggs or meat, limited dairy.
wondered about replacements like boost or ensure
help please

Ensure or Booost are great meal substitutes that can be used but, they cannot be your only intake. Can you get some fruit down? Say some yummy fresh strawberries, grapes and cantaloupe that you can cut up into small pieces and take your time eating. I had a problem eating too but not the same as yours. I don't want to say what it was as anxious people are suggestible. You also have to work on changing you perception of food and what you think its relation to anxiety is. Can you figure out what all the anxiety is about? Is something going on in your life to bring this on? Are you on any meds? Maybe an anti-anxiety medication could help you calm down enough to get your body back into an optimal nutrious level. What do you think?

don't forget to take multi-vitamin tablets like Centrum every now and then so that you don't get malnourished.

i know how u feel eat little things u love firs take a bit an say " the more i eat the better i will feel" i had to do that an force myself when i wouldnt eat. xxxxxxxxxx
