i have gone down from four pots of coffee per day to two cups per day.
This week I will have 1/2 cup per day. It's been long and difficult, but my breathing and my heart rate is calm, and my thoughts are not racing. I never, before, put two and two together. Yikes lol |

great job openarms!
i've never been big on coffee, but i do enjoy the ocassional white chocolate mocha, here and there. one in the am and the other in the afternoon. last night around 8 pm i started feeling a little anxious and my scary obsessive thoughts that i've been handling/controlling so well started to creep up. i wasn't too worried about it. i knew it would pass and it was only anxiety, but at first i was puzzled as to why i was feeling that way. took a few mins, but last night i came to realize the culprit was the coffee/mocha! staying away from caffeine makes quite a difference where anxiety is concerned, doesn't it? not to mention for our "overall" health as well. |

Good for you! I too gave up caffeine all together (except chocolate here and there) about 3 years ago. Rough first two weeks but then I was okay. What a difference it makes in us anxiety sufferers so good for you for taking that step. It's not easy but absolutely possible!
