I've finally started to exercise EVERY day and
WOW - I feel awesome! The program helped me to overcome my panic, anxiety and depression and now THIS is like the icing on the cake! My favorite part of cake by the way Smiler.

My hubby used to have to take me to my physical therapist because I couldn't drive(panic attacks)and I was limited to how often he was available. Then, after i started being able to drive by myself again, yeah! thank God for the program- I drove twice a week to my appointments by myself. Recently, my PT recommended a daily routine and advised me to try a new facility in town(5 minutes from my home) that has PT's who specialize in spinal injury clients and cardiac patients. That's me, both of those.

So anyway, I feel better than I have in years, and have decided that the daily exercise has to be a life style for me. Awesome stress relief!!!
AND, if I can do it, come on guys, go for it!
I've had multiple spinal and heart surgeries, have limited movement, and have congestive heart failure. BUT, I feel GREAT!

God bless and hugs to all!

Good on you cindylou! I used to be a fitness freak - from spinning classes to dance, and have found exercise a great stress and anxiety relief. Highly recommend it, although have been lazy in the last year. It just puts that psychotic adrenaline we have to some good use. Karita

Congrats on the exercising!!

I picked up exercising again in Nov-2006, after a little absense, lol. I'll tell ya: mentally & emotionally - BIG TIME HELP! Sure, there are times when I just don't feel like doing it, but always do. Not 1 time, do I exercise & I regret it.

Totally agree. If I just get to run for min. 30 min my day is saved. I need to get my hearth rate up for at least 20 min and I start to feel really great!! I just started working again so I decided I need to get a treadmill,so I get time to feel this great every day.
Keep it up.

I've been pretty faithful to my little exercise video, and it's helped a lot. I keep thinking maybe I should branch out to more, when I start sleeping and feeling better. It truly is a way of taking care of yourself (which is what doctor's have been telling me for years. So hard to have the discipline, but so important.
I pray that I would have the discipline to stick with the program.

Exercise was by far the greatest attribute in my recovery. There are so many things that are good about exercising that I'm too lazy to type them. Lets just say: If you want to get rid of your anxiety and you are physically able to work-out then start exercising ASAP- it might just be the climax of your recovery, or that magic cure you've been looking for.

Just don't start slacking off once the anxiety is gone- thats what happened to me.

Hi Cindy, can I ask how long it took you before you felt great after exercising everyday? What kind of exercise are you doing? I just started two weeks ago, but during those two weeks, I only exercised about 6 times and the most was 30 minutes.
