Can someone please tell me this....I thought I was big and bad, lol.....on Halloween, I ate pizza, drank Sprite and ate chocolate. I didn't feel crappy that night, but the next day or so, I have felt like crappola. Can that actually happen to someone? Can someone really feel the side effects of eating junk days later? Or is it in my head, or am I going nuts?

I really think there is truth to it. Anytime I revert back to old/bad eating habits, my stomach is a mess for day. I feel like an old car with dirty oil running thru it. We all need pleasure foods from time to time and just a moment to indulge. But maybe next time just do it on a much smaller scale. It's ok to treat yourself, but just don't go crazy.

Hope this helps!

Yes junk food definitely affects me the next day. Chocolate especially is like a hangover for me or like last nite I had choc. cake and had leg jerks in bed. The next day I'm much more irritable and cry over every little thing. It's awful. Yes moderation is key. I sometimes don't know what moderation is and then end up paying for it. Good luck.

Hi All! Yeah I can completely agree with everyone. And, I don't know how I'm able to handle it, but its not easy. Especially when i have so much temptations in my house! I know that from listening to the cd for week 5 that they say to cut back completely no caffeine or sugar. Well, Caffeine I have no problems with, but trying to kill the urge/craving for a cookie or something, I just say well only a little bit and definitely not at night due to it feeding any leftover anxiety from the day when finally going to bed. Anyway, just remember the benefits are so rewarding in the end! Our mental and physical aspects improving will make us happier much more easily!
