Does anyone know, if Sweets,(like chocolates) effect the heart rate?
I have noticed lately, when I eat alot sweets cookies, candy, chocolate, that my heart reate seems to be higher. And also my anxiety or rather my edginess is more intense. I have tested my sugar on my fathers diabetic monitor and it is normal. It is hard to stop just eating sweets for me, I CRAVE CHOCOLATE ALMOST ALWAYS! Big Grin
Just wondering if anyone else related to this.

thanks for your time!

waterdrinker,.........yes chocolate will. it has caffeine in it............go back to your session 5 tape.......it will go into it more in depth.
testing your blood sugar has nothing to do with it really. (i'm an R.N.)
hard to stay away from chocolate, tho isn't it.....when it's so soothing.
my big problem is trying to stay away from my morning cup of coffee.

Darlene,

I found a website today that kinda helped me with this problem. It has alot of info about caffeine....
[URL=http://www.chemicalbalance.com/caffeine.htm
if you go to this web page[/URL]

I do not have the program as of yet! I have seen the infra-comercials and I think that it is going to help me over come anxiety. I read Lcuinda's book and she is awesome.

thanks for the reference!

Hi, waterdrinker, another thing you might want to look into is having some sort of food allergy. I am the queen of food allergies I think! One of the signs of food allergy is if your pulse increases after eating something. I am allergic to soy and that is an ingredient in most chocolates. You could be allergic to some other ingredient.
