As y'all may know, I'm an aerobics-tape-aholic. I love them. I'm always looking for new, relatively short, low-impact workouts that I can do at home. Where I live the weather isn't good enough to work out outdoors, and I'm not a big fan of the gym (I live at a university, so the gyms are filled with 18- and 19-year-olds), so I have become something of an exercise tape addict.

Anyway, my latest find is Leslie Sansone's "Walk Off Weight." It's a program that comes with 3 tapes for a one-mile, two-mile, and three-mile walk, as well as a set of light weight balls and some meal cards. If you've never tried a Leslie Sansone tape, I would recommend that you do. They are very low-impact, fun, and perfect for beginners and those of us who are afraid of exercise to ease into it. This program is great because you can start with the one-mile walk (which is what I'm doing, since I've taken a few weeks off from working out--tsk, tsk!!) and work your way up.

Anyway, it's a great program, and very, very easy. If you are afraid to exercise, and prefer to work out at home, I would definitely recommend her tapes. I like her new one especially because it incorporates the weights into the workout, and even light training can be so beneficial, especially for women.

Just a new favorite tape of mine that I wanted to share.
