i used to exersize now i cant i feel like im going to stop breathing i panic ifeel like my lungs are going to stop working i need help

A lot of the feelings we get when we exercise feel like the same symptoms we have when we are anxious..breathing fast, out of breath, rapid heartbeat, maybe a little unsteady. Something that helped me was to exercise with someone I really trusted, like my husband. That way, I felt confident knowing if something did happen to me (which it never did), at least he was there to help me. Choose a buddy who understand you have anxiety. That will help you feel more comfortable if you need to stop and rest. Also, don't try to do too much at once. If you're walking, walk for 5 or 10 minutes and work your way up.

I know this feeling. I used to have it a lot. HOwever, what you have to realize is that the exercise is what you need to deal with these feelings. If you have these feelings. stop in the middle of your walk. Do your square breathing and begin your positive self talk. Tell yourself you need this walk, you are exercising your lungs etc. Then resume your walk
