I'd like to suggest this book "Make Yourself Happy and Remarkably Less Disturbable" by Dr. Albert Ellis (the grandaddy of cognitive behavioral therapy) to read while your practicing week 4's lesson or even before you start week 4. It really hits the nail on the head and shows you some cognitive techniques to actually expect less and to calm your obsessive worries and negative thoughts. I'll warn you that Ellis is no-holds barred and isn't the hand holding type so some of his writing may offend you a bit. Also, some of the theories he describes I don't agree with, but I really was able to pick some useful information out of this book that has helped me alot. I would just like to suggest that you read it if you can, and simply use the info that you think will help you and discard the rest. It's working wonders for me. Especially the part about What's the Worst Thing that can Happen which when you think about it isn't all that bad after all.

Thanks for the tip!

To add a quote (unknown author) " I must be lucky. And the harder I work, the luckier I get! "
