I feel so much better today. Last week was really difficult. I temporarily "forgot" to use my skills and loaded myself up with "shoulds". Major mistake. I finished the Program, the first time through, about a month ago. Then, I started repeating the lessons, after my two week break. Was doing well, at that point. Then my dad ended up in the hospital life-threatening problems, collection agencies started calling me regarding past-due medical bills, Prom season, baseball season and weddings all kind of hit at once (I'm a seamstress). So, with all of that, my priorities got confused. I forgot to take care of me. Friday, I suddenly remembered my skills and thought, "Hey! You've got to change this situation." So, I did. I started taking care of myself again. Things are looking up, in many ways. My dad is doing better as well. Thank Goodness!
This is a very important lesson. Don't mess up and forget about it like I did.
Take care, everybody!

drg Glad to hear your dad is doing better. I guess we have a built-in reminder for when we forget to take care of ourselves. Our anxiety is an indication that it's time to rethink our thoughts.
You are making it in spite of the stress.
